This page explains how AmazingFinding guides are put together, what we do and do not do, and how we handle mistakes.
How we choose what to cover
We write about products that readers commonly search for in the garden, home, tech, style and wellness categories, and about gift ideas for the seasons when people shop for them. Each guide focuses on the decision a buyer has to make: which type to choose, what features matter and what to check before ordering.
How we build a guide
- We read product listings, specifications and customer reviews on Amazon, and look for features and complaints that come up repeatedly.
- We explain how to choose, using plain language and comparison tables where they help.
- We link to products on Amazon so you can check the current price, size, ratings and return policy yourself.
- For safety-related topics such as baby sleep, bed rails, inversion tables and massage guns, we add cautions and point readers to official safety guidance or a doctor where relevant.
What we do not do
- We have not tested the products we write about, and we never claim hands-on testing.
- We do not invent specifications, ratings or reviews.
- We do not publish prices, because they change; check the listing.
- We do not give medical, legal or financial advice.
Money and independence
We earn commissions as an Amazon Associate when readers buy through our links, at no extra cost to them. We do not accept payment from brands to include a product in a guide. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Updates and corrections
We update guides when products or advice change, and refresh seasonal guides each year. If you find something out of date or wrong, email hello@amazingfinding.com and we will review and correct it. You can also read more about us.
